In 1715 the eminent British Author, Daniel Defoe, said: “Liverpool(e) is one of the wonders of Britain. What it may grow to in time I know not.” It is in this spirit that The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) will open a new national architecture centre, RIBA North, on 17th June on the Liverpool Waterfront, designed by Matt Brook of Broadway Malyan – who also designed Mann Island. At the historic Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, Newton Waterproofing products have provided the solution to the waterproofing of a striking water sculpture. Newton 903-P was used to prime the base, then Newton 103-S membrane was spray applied. The solution was installed by Newton Specialist Basement Contractor Dry Waterproofing.
