February 2014 issue

Ecobuild, the industry’s leading event for the sustainable built environment, is rapidly approaching. Renowned for providing a comprehensive platform for learning and networking, it seems this year will be no exception. Taking place from 4-6th March at London’s ExCel, the event is already promoting its extensive seminar and special features programme.

Among the highlights is the introduction of three core sections to the event: Sustainable Design & Construction, Energy and Future Cities. Sustainable Design & Construction will provide a dedicated zone to learn about the latest design ideas and future construction materials as well as sustainable construction challenges. Meanwhile, within the Energy section, Ecobuild will champion key issues and provide guidance and practical advice on policy and legislation. Lastly, the show’s new Future Cities stream will bring to the fore a range of topics from biodiversity to infrastructure.

Building on the success of last year’s event, the show’s organiser endeavors to provide a better visitor experience than ever before. As part of this, all content will be hosted on the show floor, enabling simple navigation to allow visitors to manage their time much more effectively. Elsewhere in this edition, we bring you the latest case studies and talking points covering Roofing, Cladding & Insulation, Interiors, Floors, Walls & Ceilings and HVAC.
