Harmer introduces new stainless steel range for vinyl floors

Harmer Building Drainage adds to its high performance stainless steel floor drains with a new vinyl floor option, ideal for industrial and commercial kitchens.

The innovative drains are also suitable for wash down and wet rooms and compliment Harmer’s existing stainless steel range. Specifiers and contractors can now benefit from a versatile solution for vinyl floor applications with the choice of two models - fixed or fully adjustable; a vertical or horizontal outlet; and two styles of grate finishes - square or circular. An easy fit clamp ring helps to secure the vinyl sheet.

The vinyl floor drains also lead in flow rate achieving 3.0L/s against the standard 1.4L/s, and comfortably exceeding the BS EN 1253 minimum required capacity for a ground floor 100mm outlet of 1.8L/s at 20mm head of water.

Harmer Drainage Sales Manager Wayne Willmott says: “We’re committed to continual improvement of our range to ensure customers benefit from the best and most comprehensive choice of drainage products for their projects. Our new stainless steel drains for vinyl floors is no exception. They fit perfectly with our channel system and provide excellent performance against corrosion.”

Harmer Drainage is part of Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS) - the joined up name in rain to drain water management. It’s one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of building drainage products.
