Appointed by housing developer Whinfield Homes, the property needed a durable and low maintenance option that would future proof the building fabric and remain in keeping with the style of the estate.
Working directly with the developer and suppliers, Cornell Building Supplies, Fassa’s expert commercial team were on hand to specify the best solution. Daniel Baxter, Fassa’s Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the east of England, opted for Fassarend cycle 2C, which includes a KI7 basecoat, with its unrivalled strengthening reinforcing fibres and water repellence, combined with Fassanet 160 and FX 526 primer. The build-up was completed with an RX 561 topcoat, which is enriched with silicone siloxane, promising further protection from the elements.
Elliot Banks-Bourne, Director at Whinfield Homes, comments: “We needed a solution that would not only withstand the harsh British climate but would also meet a very specific colour scheme with the client requesting a striking blue façade. With Fassa’s help we chose a custom shade which fits the brief perfectly.
“We were extremely impressed by Fassa Bortolo’s knowledge, expertise and professionalism, and look forward to working with them on further developments in the future.”
Daniel Baxter, Fassa’s ASM adds: “Our thin coat product was the ideal choice. It performs well, offers flexible colour options and is extremely reliable, given the fact this cycle is both BDA and KIWA certified. The blue tone was an easy requirement for us to meet through our colour matching service, which sees our Fassarend range matched to almost any desired shade.
“We were delighted to have been selected to work on such a prestigious project and are incredibly satisfied with the outcome.”
