BoilerMag Secures Level 2 BIM Compliance for Industrial Boiler Filter Range

BoilerMag has secured Building Information Modelling (BIM) Level 2 compliance for its range of XT industrial heating system filters. BIM drawings can be downloaded for all sizes of the industrial BoilerMag XT on the BoilerMag website at www.boilermag.com, enabling architects and project managers to include digital representations of industrial filters in their construction project plans.

Aimed at industry professionals including architects, specifiers and building consultants, BIM drawings of the industrial BoilerMag XT can be quickly and easily downloaded from the BoilerMag website. Ideal for large heating systems, the BoilerMag XT prevents the build-up of ferrous oxide and scale in central heating systems, and is available in sizes from 2” to 12”.

Sales and Marketing Director Steve McAllorum said: “As one of the leading manufacturers of industrial boiler filters, we recognise the benefits of providing architects and project managers with easy-access Building Information Modelling information. As industry wide adoption of BIM becomes a reality, BoilerMag has invested in ensuring that our industrial boiler filters are now BIM Level 2 compliant; taking the opportunity to make digital representations of our industrial boiler filters widely available.”

By 2016, all centrally procured government construction projects, no matter their size, must be delivered using Building Information Modelling (BIM). This applies across the supply chain, from the smallest supplier to the largest contractor. To download BIM drawings of the BoilerMag XT industrial boiler range, please visit the website.
