One of London’s most sought after residential developments is using premium grilles and diffusers from Waterloo Air Products to achieve optimum air flow throughout 277 of its high specification luxury apartments.
Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, 375 Kensington High Street offers one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses, a private cinema, and leisure facilities including a swimming pool, fitness studio, sauna and spa. Each apartment has been designed to the highest of standards, down to the air terminal devices.
Waterloo liaised with the project consultant MTT at the early design concept stages, providing their trademark expert technical support. The team then worked with Briggs & Forrester, the appointed Mechanical and Electrical Contractor, supplying a combination of grilles and diffusers to achieve all project requirements.
Waterloo’s airline linear grilles were selected as the wide range of options and fabrications provided greater design flexibility to meet the various air diffusion, engineering and architectural specifications.
Waterloo CS small format continuous slot diffusers were chosen due to their high aerodynamic and acoustic performance which made them ideally suited for use at 375 Kensington High Street.
With an excellent low flow rate air diffusion and high air handling capacity, the ability of the versatile CS series to allow any air diffusion to vertical projection without any change in the facial appearance was an added benefit on this project.
375 Kensington High Street is a flagship development for Berkeley St Edward. It was named the ‘The Best London Home’ in the London Evening Standard New Homes Award. The architects were Squire & Partners and Scott Brownrigg. The Consultant was MTT and the M&E Contractor was Briggs & Forrester
