National Ventilation Adds dMEV Range to Ventilation Offering for New Build Residential

National Ventilation, a leading UK-based ventilation manufacturer and distributor, has extended its range of ventilation products for new build residential with the launch of its Monsoon decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV) 100 range.

Designed to be a perfect fit for kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms, the Monsoon dMEV 100 range of fans offers a sleek design and near silent operation as low as 13dB(A), making them the ideal choice for self-builders and small developers.

With best-in-class efficiencies as low as 0.12 SFP, the Monsoon dMEV 100 range incorporates a high-pressure axial impeller, with a switched live connection or humidistat to control the boost speed. The integral humidistat option provides ambient response logic that is fully adjustable between 40-90% relative humidity, with the fan increasing its speed proportionally as humidity increases. The Monsoon dMEV 100 also features fully adjustable airflow up to 30l/s on trickle and 35 l/s on boost, adjustable in 1l/s increments for easy installation and commissioning. In addition, its integrated UKAS calibrated airflow sensor, showing airflow and system pressure, means you can be confident that the Monsoon dMEV 100 will work as intended.

“The new Monsoon dMEV 100 is quiet yet versatile and has best-in-class specific fan powers making it the ideal option for developers who need to build homes with low carbon footprints and good indoor air quality,” said Robin Francis, Managing Director at National Ventilation. “It’s also very versatile with multiple siting options, an integral humidistat option, and fully adjustable fan speed which all add up to a great choice for housebuilders and their buyers.”

For electricians install is made easy. Suitable for wall, ceiling and window mounting, and IPX5 rated for Zone 1, installations make siting the Monsoon dMEV 100 range flexible. Furthermore, an integrated spirit level for accurate siting makes install a breeze.

The Monsoon dMEV 100 also features a comfort control option to minimise nuisance tripping. This allows the household to enjoy a quiet bathroom for up to 20 minutes before the Boost activates. Furthermore, if the light switch turns On and Off within 3 minutes, the Boost will not activate. This helps avoid disturbing the family if the bathroom light is turned on during the night.

If you would like to include this new fan range in your next building project, National Ventilation also offers a free whole house ventilation design service for architects, developers and builders with developments of 100 plots or less. The service provides a full ventilation design as well as recommended duct routes, a full kit list and site visits. Architects, developers and builders are able to go direct to the company’s website where they can upload their drawings. The design team will then produce free professional REVIT ventilation designs for the customer.
